Lapel Pin Cuban Flag with Clutch 1″

The Cuban flag consists of five horizontal stripes of blue and white, with a red equilateral triangle on the hoist side that contains a white five-pointed star. The stripes represent the original departments of Cuba back when it was a Spanish colony, and the blue stripes symbolize the three parts of the country that Cuba was divided into at the time: the West, Center, and East. The white stripes symbolize purity and virtue. The red triangle represents the blood shed by those who fought for Cuban independence, and the white star represents liberty and independence. The current design of the Cuban flag was adopted on May 20, 1902, when Cuba gained independence from Spain.
