Ernesto Lecuona (1895–1963) was a Cuban composer and pianist, widely regarded as one of the most important and influential figures in Latin American music. Born on August 6, 1895, in Guanabacoa, a suburb of Havana, Cuba, Lecuona began studying piano at a young age and demonstrated exceptional talent.
Lecuona’s music is diverse and encompasses various genres, including classical, Cuban, and popular music.
